When searching for the right celebrant, we were faced with a numerous choices, everyone promising that they will make the ceremony custom and true to us. We are so glad we chose Kari, because she truly delivered on that promise. She took the time to get to know us, and create truly authentic ceremony that needed no revisions. Nothing was too hard for Kari - she was happy to incorporate quite an elaborate Croatian tradition, and even lent us some props. On the day she was calm and collected, and expertly navigated us through the day - even when the weather wasn't cooperating. If you want a celebrant who caters to your multicultural or multi-belief needs, Kari is the woman for the job! I found her after worrying for days about who could officiate a wedding between myself and my then-partner. I am a believer (mostly performing Hindu-Buddhist traditions) while my then-partner-now-husband is an ecologically-minded atheist. Because I want the ceremony to be sacred as well as intimate, I was looking around for a person who could cater to this need. I found Karis page because she once officiated a wedding between an Indian man and an Australian lady, and I thought she would be able to do us justice. She did.What I also love about Kari, in addition to her kind and gentle nature, is that she helped us - my husband and me exploring our relationship. Kari sent us a quiz with the intention to know who we are, but the quiz also helped me and my husband remembering why we fell in love in the first place, why we wanted to get married, etc. I still keep the quiz results that Kari sent us; I plan to incorporate it into our wedding album (which is still to come due to my busy schedule; but it will come!). Because we lived two hours flight away from where Kari lives, my husband did not meet Kari until the day before the ceremony. However, Kari Skyped my then-partner and I a few days after we agreed to have her service, to explore our wedding needs. Kari and I also met almost a year in advance because I had the chance to go to Sunshine Coast. She picked me up at the train station and took me around the Maroochy Regional Bushland Botanic Garden. Kari also searched and searched for some rose petals for my prayers during the ceremony (and she found some, miraculously, despite last April being rather off-season for roses). Thats one more thing about Kari: shes so willing to help wedding couples finding the best for them.My husband and I finally chose the Maroochy Regional Bushland Botanic Garden for the ceremony location. My husband loves the trees there, and I particularly love the vibe there. We got married there in April 2018.For the garden ceremony, Kari helped us typing up my prayers and printing them on multiple cards so that our guests could understand what I was saying (because I chanted some Vedic prayers). She also helped me setting up my altar (I was just on time reaching the ceremony place that day because of heavy rain). She comforted us particularly me, the worried bride! about the weather (it rained cats and dogs practically everywhere except the Garden (except for a few minutes of a short shower; I eventually saw the rain as a blessing, though). She also gave a lovely prologue and epilogue speeches to the wedding ceremony. We are, I am, very thankful for her help. The wedding ceremony was very beautiful, I felt The Sacred enveloping the ceremonial space, and I felt truly blessed that day (and always). And Kari, you were a big part of that blessing.So, thank you very much from the bottom of our hearts
Kari was amazing! She spoke so well and adapted the ceremony to our needs. We loved how she made our ceremony very personal and took the time to get to know us. We loved having Kari a part of our wedding and we couldn't have asked for a better celebrant!

Kari has such natural warmth, we immediately felt comfortable with her. She was the first celebrant that we met with and after our initial meeting, we didn't feel the need to see any others. Kari balances her earthy spirit with professionalism and this gave us confidence in her ability to do her job well - which she certainly did! She has a soothing and comforting nature which we appreciated (and needed on the day!) and she handled our ceremony perfectly, blending a lightness of touch, humour, love and spirituality into something which deeply moved not only the two of us but all of our guests. Kari was an essential part of our special day, endeavouring to take any stress and strain away from us.
